Hi! I’m Ashley. I’m a runner, an RRCA certified running coach and UESCA certified ultra-running coach. I ran my first marathon in 2018 and since then I’ve ran dozens more marathons, dozens of 50ks and a few 50 milers along with several half marathons, 10ks and 5ks. In January 2024, I finished my quest to run a marathon or longer in all 50 states!
Since I became more consistent with running races, I dreamed about doing something that would allow me to encourage others to get into running too. In 2021 I got certified as an RRCA running coach and have helped my friends train for their own races. In 2024 I got certified as a UESCA ultra-running coach to help those wanting to go the extra distance!
I started Melo Running so I could branch out and help other runners with their goals. Running has helped me improve my physical and mental health and that is the approach I like to take with my clients. It's not just about finishing a race or running fast. It's about improving all aspects of our lives and enjoying the process.
In addition to coaching I also launched the “Through Endurance We Conquer” podcast to help others use running as a tool to improve their mental health, build resilience, and navigate life’s ups and downs.
